Formula Is slowly becoming a more global sport. And in an effort to spread global awareness I am now formally warning any international sports teams of the dreaded boat photos.
The most popular and recent being the New York Giants Boat Photo.
Since the photo the giants have gone 15-33 as a team for a win percentage of .312. 18 games under .500. They would also Trade OBJ in the coming years. Sterling Shepard would deal with injuries as well as Victor Cruz retiring. It will go down as one of the most infamous photos in NFL lore and really Sports history.
Another bad boat photo would be the Banana Boat photo. One of the most popular in most recent NBA History.
The infamous Banana Boat. Dwyane Wade would bounce around the league for a while before retiring. Chris Paul would suffer the LA curse for the Clippers. After that he spent a season or two in Oklahoma City. Now he seems to have found a home with the Suns leading them to a 2 seed in the west this year but playing what is possibly the hardest 7 seed ever in the Lakers.
Lebron would be the only one to continue to have success.
Now Mercedes is potentially following wake with these photos today.
One thing to notice is Bottas isn’t anywhere in these photos that contains the other big 3 at Mercedes. Just like Carmelo Anthony not being invited to the Banana Boat photo.
Mercedes fans should start praying now that your team doesn’t have the same fate as other iconic sport boat photos. If you are not a Mercedes fan well if history repeats itself you will be a very happy fan soon.
